Silicone oils
VITREOCROM® 1000 and VITREOCROM® 5000 are used for prolonged tamponade after treatment of severe retinal detachment, especially for retinal detachment with giant tears, PVR, PDR and traumatic retinal detachments. VITREOCROM® 1000 and VITREOCROM® 5000 are silicone oils made of ultrapure polydimethylsiloxane for intraocular use provided in a disposable sterile glass syringe. They feature viscosities of 1000-1500 mPas and 5000-5900 mPas respectively. |
