Ophthalmology

Viscoelastics are indispensable instruments of every anterior segment surgery. For this reason it is important to us to manufacture our viscoelastics in our own production facility and to follow the highest safety standards which are based on validated GMP and ISO guidelines. Except for our ultrapure HPMC products, all of our viscoelastic fluids are composed of biofermentative natural hyaluronate of non-animal origin and are therefore extremely well-tolerated.
The inner and outer sterility of our products makes them ready to use for surgery. CROMA’s viscoelastic fluids guarantee excellent cell protection and eminent stabilization of the anterior segment and the capsular bag during surgery.


Orthopaedics

CROMA’s intra-articular viscosupplementation products for the treatment of osteoarthritis are manufactured at our own production site at Korneuburg, Austria. Our company attaches great importance to highest quality, safety and purity of its products. Therefore, we strictly adhere to GMP, ISO and MDD guidelines. All of our viscoelastic fluids for orthopaedic use contain biofermentative, ultrapure hyaluronate of non-animal origin to ensure biotolerability. In addition our viscoelastics are sterilized with moist heat to guarantee product safety.
CROMA’s viscosupplementation products comply with all current quality criteria and have evidence-based therapeutic effects.


Dermatology

Since 2004, CROMA has been manufacturing viscoelastic hyaluronate products for dermatologic use.
In 2009 we launched  our new product line which comprises dermal fillers and mesotherapy products. The first two products tapped a new business area: dermatology.
As usual CROMA guarantees production at the highest level through strict quality criteria and quality control.
