CORNEA_PROTECT®

CORNEA_PROTECT® (2 % HPMC) is a lubricant and contact agent for the protection of the corneal surface during surgical procedures. Exclusively developed and manufactured by CROMA, CORNEA_PROTECT® guarantees a perfect protection of the corneal epithelium from drying out and an excellent optical clarity during the surgery.

CORNEA_PROTECT® is adapted for both anterior segment procedures as well as for vitreoretinal surgery involving contact lenses or three mirror lenses. Thanks to its long retention time on the corneal surface each application will assure the protection of the cornea for up to 20 minutes. Each unit dose allows repeated applications during the same surgical procedure.
